Kals on Cahill is looking for an experienced and passionate barista to join our growing team!
Located in the heart of Wolli Creek, Kals on Cahill is a beautiful cafe known for its welcoming atmosphere, quality food and excellent coffee. We take pride in creating a positive environment for both our customers and our team.
We’re looking for someone who is confident behind the coffee machine, takes pride in their work and genuinely enjoys providing outstanding customer service.
About the role
This is an ongoing position with regular and consistent hours available. The role is for a fulltime position with secured, regular hours is available for the right candidate. We require an experienced barista from Tuesday to Friday plus a weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday).
- Has solid barista experience and is confident working independently on a busy coffee machine
- Can consistently produce high-quality espresso and milk-based coffees
- Has a good understanding of coffee, grinder adjustment and milk texturing
- Takes pride in presentation, cleanliness and maintaining a well organised workstation
- Provides friendly, professional and genuine customer service
- Works calmly and efficiently during busy service periods
- Is reliable, punctual and committed to their rostered hours
- Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively with both FOH and kitchen staff
- Is flexible and available to work weekends
- Has a positive attitude and is looking for a stable, ongoing role rather than occasional or short-term work.

Rate: $30-$35 per hour, depending on experience.
