Bar Idda is seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our team.
Position: Chef
Salary: $80,000 per annum + Superannuation
Hours: 38 hours per week
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes in accordance with the menu and quality standards.
- Plan and organise food preparation and cooking activities.
- Ensure food quality, presentation and consistency.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Monitor stock levels and minimise food wastage.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Skills and Requirements
- Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a chef role is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
- Solid teamwork, communication and time-management skills.
Pay: $79,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
