Iconic Realty is a growing real estate agency specialising in fully furnished residential properties across Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and experienced Handyman / Furniture Removalist to join our team on a full-time basis.
This is a hands-on role involving general property maintenance, furniture removal, property preparation and warehouse organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport furniture between our warehouse and residential properties.
- Prepare and fully furnish recent rental properties.
- Assemble, install and move furniture.
- Carry out general property repairs and maintenance.
- Complete basic painting and wall repairs.
- Perform minor non-structural installation and construction tasks.
- Organise and maintain warehouse storage areas.
- Manage furniture inventory and keep stock records updated.
- Assist other removalists with furniture deliveries and relocations when required.
- Safely operate power tools and general maintenance equipment.
- Maintain the company van, tools and equipment in good condition.
Please note: This position does not involve bricklaying or structural construction work.
Requirements
- Previous experience in handyman work,
property maintenance or a similar role.
- Confident and experienced in using power tools.
- Experience assembling and installing furniture.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy furniture safely.
- Well-organised, responsible and able to manage daily tasks independently.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's licence and confidence driving a company van.
Position Details & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $35 per hour (ABN).
- Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday.
- Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
- Weekly Hours: Approximately 40 hours.
- Company Van: Provided.
- Fuel & Vehicle Expenses: Fully covered by the company.
- Tools & Equipment: Provided.

- Training: Full training on company procedures provided.
