Female Disability Support Workers – Immediate Start
Location: Woodville West, SA
Pay Rate: $38–$41 per hour
Positions Available: 1-2 Female Support Workers
Providence Care Australia is seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Female Support Workers to support a friendly and easy-going female participant living with Autism (Level 2) and back pain.
The participant has recently relocated to Adelaide and is looking for support workers who can assist her in building a routine, accessing the community, and maintaining her independence in a respectful and person-centred manner.
Available Shifts (Please ensure you have availability for at least one or preferable two of the shifts below before applying.
Days could be swap with the current staff except on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support in the home and community
- Assist with daily living activities and routines
- Support community participation and social engagement
- Encourage independence and skill development
- Assist the participant to work towards her NDIS goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the care team
Essential Requirements
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services, or a related qualification
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Blue card
- Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- Understanding of person-centred and trauma-informed support practices
