About the Venue:

The Bistecca experience begins by pulling up a stool or a candle-lit table in the old-world, wood-panelled cocktail bar, stocked with amaro from across the world, including our Four Pillars classic Negroni. Moving into the intimate 50-seat restaurant, you’re greeted by refined Tuscan hospitality. From the table, take in our famous Bistecca butcher’s block and open hearth, which fills the dining room with timeless warmth. The space then flows to a bottle-lined enoteca (wine room) available for private dining.

Bistecca is fast paced, though our guests are met with a warm, timeless and nostalgic feeling, that is sincere and welcoming. We want them to feel comfortable, and still have a sense of the raw, rustic, and a little bit of cheek!

About the Role:

We are offering a casual bartender position that calls for adaptability and a willingness to engage in cross-training across various areas of the venue from hosting, shaking tins, waiting tables and showing everyone a excellent time. The role is a perfect platform for a committed hospitality individual to perform in a busy venue where their personality and customer focussed attitude can shine.
Previous experience in a hatted venue is highly regarded, as is a commitment to maintaining consistency and excellence.

Day to Day:

- Ensures all beverages are to specifications and consistent.
- Ensures efficient, professional and personal guest experience.




- Communicates efficiently between all members of the venue.
- Contributing to team culture.
- Beverage creation.
- Carry out additional duties required to fulfil the position as requested.

About You:

- Proven experience in a within a premium or hatted venue
- A confident and calm demeanour, allowing you to pivot between roles with ease
- High attention to detail and a genuine passion for guest interaction
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Availability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and evenings
