Business Development Manager – NDIS Provider
NAD Care Support Services | Victoria | Part-Time / Flexible Arrangement
About Us
NAD Care Support Services is a registered NDIS provider delivering high-quality, participant-centred disability support services across Victoria. Our services include daily living support, community participation, Supported Independent Living (SIL), capacity building, accommodation assistance, and support for participants with complex needs.
We are expanding our services and seeking an experienced, results-driven Business Development Manager to grow our participant base, establish strategic referral partnerships, and drive sustainable business growth.
About the Role
We are looking for someone who understands the NDIS sector, has strong industry connections, and can turn professional relationships into genuine participant referrals and ongoing service engagements.
This role is best suited to someone with a proven track record in NDIS business development or an established network of Support Coordinators, allied health professionals, and other referral partners.
We are not looking for someone who only makes calls or sends emails. We want a capable professional who can demonstrate how their experience, relationships, and business development strategy will contribute to the growth of NAD Care Support Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate participant referrals and develop new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with Support Coordinators, allied health professionals, plan managers, hospitals, discharge planners, and community organisations.
- Leverage existing industry connections to establish ongoing referral partnerships.
- Identify participants whose support needs align with NAD Care's services and capabilities.
- Develop and manage a consistent pipeline of prospective participants and referral partners.
- Follow up on referrals and coordinate with the internal team to support suitable participant onboarding.
- Identify growth opportunities across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.
- Represent NAD Care at industry networking events, stakeholder meetings, and relevant community events.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach, referrals, conversions, and business development outcomes.
- Provide regular progress reports and growth strategies to the Director.
Essential Experience and Attributes
Applicants should demonstrate one or more of the following:
- Previous success in business development or participant acquisition within the NDIS sector.
- An established network of Support Coordinators and referral partners.
- A proven ability to develop partnerships that generate consistent participant referrals.
- Experience growing an NDIS provider or another disability, healthcare, or community services organisation.
- Strong communication, negotiation, relationship management, and organisational skills.
- The ability to work independently, identify opportunities, and deliver measurable outcomes.
A strong understanding of NDIS services, participant needs,
and provider operations will be highly regarded.
What We Offer
- Flexible part-time working arrangements for the right candidate.
- A remuneration package that reflects experience, capability, and agreed responsibilities.
- Direct collaboration with the Director and operations team.
- The opportunity to play a key role in the growth of an established registered NDIS provider.
- Potential for the role to expand as the business and referral network grow.
How to Apply
Please apply only if you have relevant experience, established industry relationships, or a demonstrated ability to generate new business.
Your application must include:
- A current resume outlining your relevant experience and achievements.
- A brief cover letter explaining why you are suitable for this role.
- Examples of previous business development results, including referral partnerships established and participant growth achieved, where available.
- A brief outline of your existing industry network and how you would contribute to NAD Care's growth.
Candidates should be prepared to discuss their previous results, referral development strategy, and approach to building sustainable business relationships during the interview.
Applications from candidates without relevant experience, a demonstrable industry network, or a credible business development strategy are unlikely to be shortlisted.
