You’ll work one-on-one with clients in their homes and in the community, helping them with daily living and supporting them to reach their goals. Duties may include:

- Personal care, including showering, dressing and grooming
- Meal preparation and light household tasks
- Supporting clients to attend appointments, shopping and community activities
- Helping clients build independent living and social skills
- Medication prompting, in line with each client’s support plan
- Writing accurate shift notes and reporting incidents or changes in a client’s needs

Many of our clients also need help around the home and garden. If you have practical skills like these, please highlight them in your application:

- Gardening, lawn mowing and yard maintenance
- Basic handyman or home maintenance tasks
- Cleaning and home organisation
- Cooking and meal planning
- Languages other than English
- Hobbies or interests you could share with clients, such as art, music, sport or fishing

Pay: $33.78 – $43.89 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 15.0 per week
