Artemus Group is looking for a passionate Chef to lead our Mexican food offering and bring bold, authentic flavours to life.

We’re looking for someone with a robust understanding of traditional Mexican techniques and ingredients who enjoys creating great food and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. You’ll have real ownership of the menu, with the opportunity to develop, refine and rotate dishes to keep things fresh.

As our Chef, you’ll be responsible for delivering a high-quality food offering while keeping kitchen operations organised, efficient and running smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading culinary operations for the Mexican food offering
- Developing, refining and rotating the menu, bringing creativity and your own ideas
- Preparing and cooking dishes to a consistently high standard of quality and presentation
- Running efficient, high-volume service in a fast-paced environment
- Managing stock, ordering and food costs
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness

What we are looking for:

- 3+ years’ experience as a Chef or Senior Cook, with strong knowledge of traditional Mexican techniques and ingredients
- Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen; food trailer or mobile catering experience is a bonus
- A genuine passion for food, bold flavours and hospitality
- A current Food Safety Supervisor certificate,



or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to work efficiently and calmly during busy services, including in hot, compact conditions and lifting up to 20 kg
- Availability to work weekends, evenings and public holidays
