Aurea Gourmet is looking for a skilled and passionate Barista to join our team.
We’re seeking someone with solid coffee-making skills, a great eye for detail and the ability to deliver consistently high-quality coffee in a busy café environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality espresso-based coffee and other beverages.
- Dial in espresso and adjust grinders to maintain consistent coffee quality.
- Demonstrate excellent milk texturing and latte art skills.
- Maintain coffee quality, presentation and consistency during busy service.
- Keep coffee equipment and workstations clean and organised.
- Work closely with the front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
About You
- Previous experience as a barista in a busy café.
- Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, grinder calibration and milk texturing.
- Confident producing quality latte art.
- Able to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards.
- Reliable, organised and a strong team player.
- Passionate about specialty coffee and customer service.
