About the Role

YBS Ag Supplies is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our team as a Spare Parts Interpreter / Trainee Spare Parts Interpreter.

We're open to applications from both experienced parts interpreters and those looking to enter the industry and develop their skills.

While previous experience in agricultural, automotive or heavy vehicle parts would be highly regarded, it is certainly not essential. We place great value on a positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

For the right candidate, full on-the-job training and ongoing support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

- Respond to customer enquiries in person, over the phone and via email.
- Identify, source and supply spare parts for agricultural machinery, trucks, trailers and light vehicles.
- Prepare quotes, process sales, raise purchase orders and manage associated documentation.
- Liaise with suppliers to source parts and coordinate orders and deliveries.
- Assist with stock control, inventory management and general warehouse operations.
- Work closely with our workshop team to coordinate parts requirements and repairs.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing friendly, knowledgeable and reliable service.

About You

Previous experience in spare parts interpreting, agricultural machinery, automotive or heavy vehicle industries would be an advantage, but is not a requirement.

We supply a broad range of agricultural and automotive spare parts, bearings, belts, filters, oils, hydraulic hose and fitting and workshop consumables, alongside our mechanical workshop services.

We pride ourselves on delivering quality products, knowledgeable advice and dependable customer service, supported by a friendly and dedicated team.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Birchip VIC 3483: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)

Experience:

- Parts interpretation : 1 year (Preferred)
