Burwood Shisha Lounge is a relaxed, social spot where people come to unwind with good shisha, drinks and company. We’re a small, close team, and we’re looking for a friendly, reliable person to join us on the floor.
The role
You’ll be the first face our customers see. You’ll make sure everyone has a great night, from the moment they walk in until they head home.
What you’ll be doing:
- Welcoming and seating customers, and taking orders
- Preparing and serving shisha and drinks
- Serving alcohol responsibly
- Keeping the lounge clean and well stocked during the shift
- Handling payments and closing duties at the end of the night
- Helping the team with whatever keeps the night running smoothly
What we’re looking for
- A current Victorian RSA certificate (essential)
- A current driver’s licence (essential)
- Available for late shifts. Some shifts finish as late as 2am,
so you’ll need to be comfortable with late nights, including weekends.
- A warm, confident manner with customers
- Reliable and punctual, and works well in a small team
- Hospitality or customer service experience is a plus, but we’ll train the right person
What’s in it for you
- Versatile rostering that works around study or other commitments
- A fun, social workplace with a supportive team
