JITA CARE is looking for a caring, reliable and experienced female Disability Support Worker to provide support to an NDIS participant in Adelaide.

We're hoping to find someone with a genuine connection to Italian culture, particularly Italian food, cooking and traditions.

You don't need to be Italian or speak the language. We're more interested in finding someone who understands and enjoys these cultural traditions and can build a comfortable, trusting relationship with the participant.

About the Role

- Assisting with meal preparation, including Italian-style cooking.
- Supporting everyday household tasks and organisation.
- Following the participant's routines and preferences.
- Providing respectful, reliable and person-centred support.
- Building a positive and trusting relationship over time.

This opportunity will initially involve backup support, with the possibility of additional hours as the participant becomes comfortable.

Requirements

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current First Aid & CPR.
- Right to work in Australia.
- Reliable, organised and respectful approach.




- Willingness to follow the participant's preferences and routines.

Desirable

- Previous experience in disability or home-based support.
- Familiarity with Italian culture, food and traditional cooking.
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or Community Services.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
- Driver's licence and reliable vehicle.

A female Support Worker is preferred for this participant match, in line with her individual preferences and privacy needs.
