Job Title: Physiotherapist (Part-Time) – Community-Based Aged Care

Location: South-East Melbourne (Mobile / Home Visits)

Salary/Rate: Competitive hourly rate (negotiable based on experience & qualifications)

The Australian–Filipino Community Services (AFCS) is a Community Service Organisation and Registered Charity. We offer culturally appropriate holistic support to enhance the social, physical, emotional, spiritual and mental wellbeing of Filipino families and individuals.

We are seeking a versatile skilled to deliver high-quality care and programs tailored to individuals across the age spectrum from children to older people.

Key Responsibilities

- Assessments: Conduct comprehensive physical and mobility assessments for clients in home and community settings.
- Care Plans: Develop, implement, and monitor individualised physical therapy, rehabilitation, and falls-prevention plans.
- Mobility & Equipment: Prescribe mobility aids, exercise programs, and adaptive techniques to improve functional independence.
- Collaboration: Partner with clients, families, and our wider care team to deliver coordinated, holistic care.

What We Are Looking For

- Registration: Current,



unrestricted registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Physiotherapist
- Diverse experience: Demonstrated experience working with diverse age groups, specifically pediatric through geriatric populations.
- Language: Fluency in Tagalog / Filipino is highly desirable to effectively connect with our predominantly Filipino-speaking clients.
- Licensing: Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and a reliable vehicle for travel across South-East Melbourne.
- Compliance: Current National Police Check and First Aid/CPR certificates, Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain before starting).
- Values: Strong cultural empathy, clear communication skills, and a commitment to person-centred care.
