As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Caulking & Silicone Supervisor to lead our field operations.

Position Overview

The Caulking & Silicone Supervisor is a full-time field role responsible for overseeing all on-site caulking and silicone application works. The incumbent will lead a team of tradespeople, manage day-to-day scheduling, ensure quality and compliance on all projects, and act as the primary point of contact between the field team and management. This position requires significant hands-on expertise in silicone and caulking applications as well as demonstrated supervisory and organisational capability.

Duties, Tasks and ResponsibilitiesSite Supervision & Project Management

· Supervise and coordinate all caulking and silicone works across multiple active project sites

· Conduct site inspections prior to commencement of works to assess scope, materials, and conditions

· Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout each project phase

· Talk directly with builders, subcontractors, and clients to ensure works are completed to specification

· Prepare and submit site reports, job completion documentation, and defect notices where required

· Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with Australian Standards and relevant compliance requirements

Scheduling & Workforce Coordination

· Plan and manage daily, weekly, and project-based job scheduling across the team





· Allocate labour resources based on project demands, skill sets, and geographic location

· Coordinate with the business owner to ensure workflow is aligned with incoming job bookings and client timelines

· Manage and resolve scheduling conflicts and last-minute site changes efficiently

· Track team attendance, productivity, and on-site performance

Training & Team Development

· Onboard and train new team members in caulking techniques, surface preparation, product application, and finishing standards

· Deliver in office mentoring and skills development to junior and experienced staff

· Ensure all team members understand and comply with safe work procedures, WHS obligations, and PPE requirements

· Identify skill gaps and recommend further training or professional development as required

· Maintain accurate training records and induction documentation

Work Health & Safety (WHS)

· Uphold and enforce all WHS policies and safe work method statements (SWMS) on every project site

· Conduct pre-start safety briefings and toolbox talks with the field team

· Identify and mitigate potential hazards and ensure incident reporting is completed in a timely manner

· Ensure all equipment is maintained, inspected, and fit for purpose

Communication & Client Relations





· Serve as the primary on-site representative for BrisSeal, maintaining a professional and courteous manner at all times

· Communicate project progress, delays, or variations to the business owner and relevant stakeholders

· Respond to client queries on-site and escalate issues appropriately

· Uphold the company's reputation for quality, reliability, and professionalism

Qualifications and Experience (Required)

· Sound knowledge of caulking materials, application techniques, and relevant Australian Standards

· Experience in scheduling and coordinating field teams across concurrent project sites

· Solid understanding of Work Health & Safety (WHS) requirements in the construction or trades sector

· Valid Queensland driver's licence or Overseas license

· White Card (Construction Induction Training Certificate) – or willingness to obtain

Skills and Attributes (Desirable)

· Experience working with and training staff from diverse backgrounds

· Strong communication skills in both written and verbal English

· High attention to detail and pride in delivering a quality finish

· Ability to work independently and problem-solve under pressure

Salary and Conditions

· Full-time permanent position (minimum 38 hours per week)

· Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on experience and qualifications

· Regular travel to project sites across Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and the surrounding Queensland region
