About the Opportunity:

As our Senior Test Engineer, you'll be a senior individual contributor responsible for driving quality outcomes across complex technology initiatives. You'll define test strategies, lead quality assurance activities, identify and manage delivery risks, and provide expert advice on release readiness. You'll work closely with engineers, product owners, business analysts and stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle.

You'll also help uplift testing capability across squads by mentoring other QA professionals, promoting best practices and championing a culture of continuous improvement.

What You'll Do:

- Lead quality engineering activities across web, Salesforce, API, integration and data platforms, ensuring high-quality customer and business outcomes.

- Define test strategies, approaches and quality plans for complex initiatives, projects and releases.

- Design, develop and maintain automated test solutions using modern test automation frameworks.

- Perform functional, API, integration, end-to-end and data validation testing to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.

- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to identify quality risks, improve testability and provide risk-based release recommendations.

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners and delivery teams to embed quality throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

- Mentor QA team members and champion a culture of quality, collaboration and continuous learning.

About You:

- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science,



Engineering or a related discipline, and/or equivalent industry experience.

- 5+ years’ experience in software testing and quality engineering across web applications, APIs, integrations, data platforms and CRM like Salesforce.

- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO or similar contemporary test automation frameworks, including framework development and maintenance.

- Hands-on experience with API testing experience using Postman, ReadyAPI or equivalent tools.

- Strong knowledge of functional, integration, end-to-end, database and data validation testing, including SQL.

- Risk-based testing mindset with analytical skills and the ability to influence delivery outcomes.

- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and release management using tools such as TeamCity.

- Experience using test management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Zephyr.

- Demonstrated experience leading testing activities across the full software delivery lifecycle, including planning, execution, defect management and release readiness.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.

- Experience mentoring team members and driving continuous improvement in testing practices.

- Exposure to AI-assisted testing practices and tools.

- Performance, accessibility and security testing experience highly regarded.

- Experience in domains of Private Health Insurance, Financial Services or other regulated industries.

- ISTQB certifications will be highly regarded.
