Are you a motivated and reliable individual looking to continue/start your career in the Building and Construction Industry? MEGT has a fantastic opportunity with one of our clients for a Carpentry Apprentice in Silverwater NSW!

About the role:

This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands-on experience. Your duties will include but not be limited to:

- Assisting with the installation of cladding, signage, steel framing and structural steel across various construction projects.
- Supporting commercial shop fitouts, including installations, branding, signage and finishing work.
- Assisting with civil construction tasks, including excavation, set-out, formwork and concreting.
- Measuring, preparing materials and completing general site tasks while learning to use tools and equipment safely.
- Working as part of a team to complete projects to a high standard while maintaining strong workplace health and safety practices.
- Learning front-end loading tasks, including material and equipment procurement, coordination and supporting trade management.
- Travelling to metropolitan, regional and interstate locations as required, while developing practical skills and maintaining a strong commitment to safety.

What we're looking for:

- 1st Year Carpentry Apprentices looking to start their career in the construction industry.
- 2nd or 3rd Year Carpentry Apprentices looking to continue their training and develop their skills.
- Reliable, punctual and motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
- A positive, team-focused attitude with a solid commitment to workplace health and safety.
