About NV Stone

NV Stone specialises in custom natural stone benchtops and architectural stonework. Our projects include kitchens, bathrooms, curved features, mitred edges, custom stone sinks and detailed finishes.

We are looking for a fully trained, experienced stone polisher or fabricator who takes pride in their workmanship and can complete assigned work independently.

About the role

Working alongside our director and workshop team, your responsibilities will reflect your experience and include:

- Polishing exposed edges, sink cut-outs and the underside of stone overhangs.
- Cutting, shaping and fabricating natural stone to drawings and specifications.
- Producing accurate mitred edges, joins, curves and other detailed finishes.
- Checking dimensions and finished work before pieces leave the workshop.
- Completing allocated work within agreed production timeframes.
- Maintaining tools, equipment and a clean, organised workspace.
- Following workshop safety procedures, including wet processing and required PPE.

About you

We are seeking someone with:

- Proven experience in stone benchtop polishing and/or fabrication.
- The ability to complete work independently to a consistent professional high standard.
- Experience working with natural stone,



particularly marble, granite and quartzite.
- Strong attention to detail and an understanding of stone finishing techniques.
- The ability to read drawings, measurements and job specifications.
- Reliability, clear communication and good time-management skills.
- A practical approach to solving fabrication problems.
- A strong commitment to safe working practices.

A stonemasonry trade qualification is highly regarded. Experience supervising staff, supporting apprentices or coordinating workshop production would also be an advantage.
