We’re looking for a reliable Warehouse Manufacturing Assistant to help prepare materials, assemble components and keep our workshop organised.

No previous manufacturing experience or trade qualification is required. If you’re practical, willing to learn and comfortable with physically active work, we’d like to hear from you.

Students from all courses and study years are welcome, including university and TAFE students. Entry-level applicants and non-students are equally welcome.

About MAM

Mobility Access Modifications helps older people and people with disability live more safely and independently through practical home modifications and accessibility products.

What you’ll do

- Help prepare, measure and organise materials for the manufacturing team.
- Assist with preparing and tidying metal parts under guidance from experienced team members.
- Help assemble and fit components.
- Prepare tools and materials for workshop jobs.
- Help load, unload and move materials using safe handling methods and equipment.
- Use hand and power tools as trained and instructed.
- Keep materials, tools and work areas organised.
- Complete easy records, material tracking and basic computer tasks.
- Help maintain a clean and tidy workplace.

This is mainly physical work, with some basic computer tasks. You’ll spend much of your shift standing, moving materials and helping the team.

What we’re looking for

- Reliability, punctuality and a willingness to learn.




- Interest in practical work and using tools.
- Ability to follow instructions and ask questions when unsure.
- Attention to detail and a helpful approach to teamwork.
- Basic computer skills.
- Available for 6 AM starts, with a maximum travel time of 45 minutes from home to our workplace at 49 Quinn Street, Preston VIC 3072.
- Ability to safely perform the physical duties, with reasonable adjustments where applicable.
- Australian work rights that permit the agreed roster.

Previous warehouse, assembly, workshop, maintenance or other hands-on experience is helpful, but not essential.
