Coolrooms Plus is looking for an experienced and reliable Refrigeration Mechanic Contractor to work with us on coolroom and freezer projects across Melbourne and surrounding areas.
This is a great prospect for a skilled contractor who has experience in refrigeration systems, coolroom installations, maintenance and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service and maintain refrigeration systems for coolrooms and freezers.
- Carry out refrigeration equipment installation, fault finding and repairs.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration system issues.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian standards and safety requirements.
- Work independently and complete jobs to a high standard.
- Communicate professionally with customers and our team.
Requirements
- Relevant refrigeration and air conditioning trade qualifications.
- Valid Refrigerant Handling Licence and Refrigerant Trading Authorisation, as applicable to the work performed.
- Previous experience with commercial refrigeration systems and coolrooms.
- Own tools, reliable transport and appropriate equipment.
- Ability to work independently and manage jobs efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a professional attitude.
- ABN and appropriate insurance for subcontracting work.
