Phoenix Source & Select is currently seeking an experienced, reliable and hardworking MR Delivery Driver to join our client, a well-established national transport and logistics company based in Albury.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being on the road, is physically fit and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
We're looking for someone who is reliable, has experience completing multiple deliveries throughout the day and is happy to work additional hours when required.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 6:00am starts
- Must be flexible and prepared to work overtime when required
Your Responsibilities
- Completing local pickup and delivery runs throughout Albury and surrounding areas
- Loading and unloading freight safely and efficiently
- Completing multiple deliveries and pickups throughout the day
- Ensuring freight is delivered accurately and on time
- Using electronic delivery devices and completing relevant paperwork
- Conducting daily vehicle safety checks
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Assisting with general depot duties when required
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- Current MR Driver's Licence or higher
- Previous multidrop delivery experience highly regarded
- Experience driving MR trucks in a transport or logistics environment
- Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual handling of freight up to 25kg
- Good knowledge of Albury, Wodonga and surrounding areas
- Confident using electronic delivery devices or willing to learn
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Flexible with finishing times and willing to work overtime when required
- Current LF Forklift Licence advantageous
- Full Australian working rights
