Grazia, a vibrant 100-seat Italian restaurant, is eagerly seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager who shares our passion for Italian cuisine and culture. Known for our authentic Italian dishes and exceptional service, we offer a contemporary dining experience in an elegant setting.
The ideal candidates have proven experience leading restaurant operations and managing front of house employees. In addition, candidates should enjoy enjoying working in a fast paced and dynamic environment and lead by example by taking a hands-on approach. We are a team of hospitality professionals who want to meet enthusiastic, like-minded people, to join our growing front-of-house team.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience managing a modern and fast paced à la carte restaurant service.
- Experienced in managing wait staff and maintaining rosters.
- Experienced in developing, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Extensive experience in delivering incredible customer service.
- Familiar with the management and ordering of supplies.
- An eye for detail and exceptional customer service.
- Strong communication skills and a positive,
can-do attitude.
- Flexibility in working hours/shifts - available to cover lunch and/or dinner service, seven days a week.
- High presentation and grooming standards.
- Solid understanding of both written and verbal English. Italian language skills are preferred.
- Solid numeric skills including reconciling financial information and reporting.
- Current Victorian RSA certificate.
- Experienced with configuring and maintaining Bepoz POS and Open Table booking system.
