About Us

Concept Floors Pty Ltd is a Sydney-based commercial flooring company specialising in the supply and installation of high-quality flooring solutions across a wide range of commercial projects.

We work with leading builders and contractors throughout Sydney, delivering flooring installations across offices, retail spaces, hospitality venues and other commercial environments.

We are currently seeking an experienced Floor Installer to join our growing team.

About the Role:

As a Floor Installer at Concept Floors, you will be responsible for preparing subfloors and installing vinyl flooring, carpet and carpet tiles across a variety of commercial projects throughout Sydney.

You will work closely with our project managers and installation teams to ensure all works are completed to a high standard, within project deadlines and in accordance with workplace safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and level subfloors to ensure surfaces are suitable for flooring installation.
- Install vinyl flooring, carpet and carpet tiles across commercial projects.
- Read and interpret plans, drawings and flooring specifications.
- Accurately measure, cut and fit flooring materials.
- Apply adhesives and complete vinyl seam welding.
- Install coving, trims and flooring transitions.
- Carry out flooring repairs and rectification works as required.
- Coordinate with project managers to meet installation schedules and project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.




- Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and project specifications.

Skills & Experience Required

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A minimum of three (3) years of full-time experience as a Floor Installer.
- Demonstrated experience installing commercial vinyl flooring, carpet and carpet tiles.
- Experience in subfloor preparation, vinyl welding, coving and finishing techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret flooring plans and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management and communication skills.
- A sound understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
- A valid driver's license.
