Restaurant Manager – Gold Coast

Salary: $79,500–$90,000 per year, depending on experience

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead our team and manage the day-to-day operation of our Gold Coast restaurant.

This role is suited to someone who leads from the floor, sets the standard through their own actions and thrives on motivating others. You will have a genuine appreciation for gastronomy, wine and the details that create a memorable dining experience.

The role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading by example and remaining actively involved during service
- Inspiring, training and developing the front-of-house team
- Creating a positive, professional and accountable team culture
- Maintaining consistently high service and presentation standards
- Managing rosters and monitoring labour costs
- Recruiting and onboarding team members
- Managing stock, ordering, wastage and inventory
- Developing the team’s menu, wine and product knowledge
- Encouraging thoughtful upselling and increased wine sales
- Working closely with the kitchen and ownership team
- Monitoring customer feedback and resolving concerns professionally
- Maintaining RSA, food-safety and workplace-safety compliance
- Ensuring the restaurant is organised and prepared for every service

You should also have:

- Previous Restaurant Manager experience or comparable hospitality-management experience
- Experience leading a team in a busy restaurant
- Confidence with rosters, labour costs, stock control and restaurant systems
- Strong customer-service and problem-solving skills
- Clear communication and a professional approach
- A current Queensland RSA, or the ability to obtain one
