Event Venue Manager

ABOUT US:

We are a major Events & Catering service provider located near the Melbourne CBD. In partnership with Jarrah Events and Footscray Community Arts, we host a variety of events from 50 to 1,000 guests including:

- Community & cultural events
- Live music
- EDM parties
- Corporate events
- University events
- Award evenings
- Weddings
- Gala dinners

OUR EVENTS VENUE MANAGER WILL:

- Lead, mentor and motivate teams of varying sizes including food & beverage staff, casual/agency staff and the ability to liaise with the kitchen and operations team.
- Assist in the smooth running of our events,



directing and overseeing the kiosk/bar, catering, front of house teams, security and bump in/out processes.
- Be flexible and ready to take on shifts based on our events calendar including nights, weekdays and weekends.
- Have their RSA certification.
- Be customer service driven and a strong communicator with event organisers, clients and guests to consistently deliver unforgettable experiences.
- Be reliable, skilled, passionate, have sharp problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Be inspired to bring new and creative ideas to the business. Your voice matters!

Strong operational experience in a similar role is preferred or this may be the right opportunity if you are ready to step up into a leadership position.
