Takeaway Counter Attendant / Customer Service All-Rounder

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Takeaway Counter Attendant to join our busy restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
- Take takeaway orders over the phone and at the front counter.
- Operate the POS system and process cash and card payments.
- Manage online orders through Uber Eats, DoorDash and other delivery platforms.
- Pack, check and hand over takeaway orders accurately.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared on time.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve minor complaints professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front counter and customer service areas.
- Assist with general front-of-house duties as required.





Requirements

- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred but not essential.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Reliable, punctual and a good team player.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
- Basic computer and cash-handling skills.
