ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER

Pack Send Kew is a packaging and freight services business based in Balwyn North, Melbourne. We help customers pack, ship and freight items of all shapes and sizes across Australia and internationally. We're a small, hands-on team and we're looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join us.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You'll be involved in every part of the business, from serving customers at the counter to packaging items for safe transit, consigning shipments through our freight systems, and doing local pickups and deliveries. No two days are the same. You'll work closely with the store owners and play a key role in keeping things running smoothly.

Day to day, this includes:

- Providing face-to-face and phone-based customer service
- Packaging items securely for domestic and international freight
- Processing shipments using our consignment and tracking systems
- Completing local pickups and deliveries using the company vehicle
- General store operations and administration

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

- Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia (visa sponsorship is not available for this role)
- Clear, confident verbal and written communication in English (you'll be dealing directly with customers,



preparing freight documentation and coordinating with carriers daily)
- A current, full Australian driver's licence (pickups and deliveries are a regular part of the role)
- Comfortable with regular manual handling, including lifting items up to 25kg
- Confident using computers, including freight consignment systems, email and basic office software

WHAT WOULD BE A BONUS

Experience in logistics, freight, warehousing or a similar hands-on environment is a plus, but it's not essential. We provide full training on our systems and processes, so attitude and reliability matter more than a specific background.
