Based at our Richmond support office, this phone and systems-based role involves inbound and outbound calls, appointment coordination, patient follow-ups and administrative support. Dental receptionists and dental assistants looking to move into a dedicated customer care role are encouraged to apply.

About the role

As a key point of contact for patients across our clinics, you will:

- Handle high volumes of inbound and outbound calls with professionalism, warmth and empathy.
- Book and coordinate appointments, working closely with clinic teams.
- Follow up recall reminders, overdue appointments, incomplete treatment, missed appointments and cancellations.
- Follow up outstanding accounts and support clinic teams with account resolution.
- Provide accurate information about our services and current promotions, referring clinical questions to the appropriate team.
- Take ownership of patient enquiries through to resolution, including documenting outcomes and following up escalated matters.
- Work towards individual and team targets for call quality, service levels, bookings and follow-through.
- Use approved communication guides while keeping conversations natural and responsive to each patient.
- Assist with administrative tasks and suggest improvements to our processes and patient experience.

About you

You bring:

- Experience in customer service, reception, administration or a call centre.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a confident, friendly phone manner.
- A calm,



empathetic and solution-focused approach.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
- Confidence navigating computer systems while speaking with patients.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy team environment.
- An ability to communicate respectfully with patients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

A dental background, such as dental reception or dental assisting, is highly regarded. Experience with dental practice management software is an advantage, with training available. Mandarin or another language is also highly regarded.

Location and availability

- Based onsite at MC Dental’s support office in Richmond, VIC.
- Full-time and part-time opportunities.
- Flexibility to work across a seven-day roster, which may include weekday, evening and weekend shifts.
