Retail assistant

Part-time & Weekend Casual | Melbourne

The Plant Society seeks passionate and keen retail specialists to join our Melbourne family. As retail assistant you will be responsible for sales, customer service, stock handling and every day retail tasks in our Collingwood Flagship.





We have opportunities for:

- Part-time positions - working 16 to 24 hours on a weekly basis, including one weekend day, with the opportunity for additional hours.

- Casual positions - working 3 to 8 hours on a weekly basis on Saturday with the opportunity for additional hours. This role is for weekend work with the potential for weekday work.

Who we are looking for:

The Plant Society admires strong, creative and passionate individuals. We seek professional individuals with life experiences and initiative who have strong sales skills.

You will bring:

- A passion for plants and all things homewares.
- Experience in a similar retail environment.
- A background in interior or homewares retail sales favourable however not essential.
- Pride in work and personal presentation
- Initiate and drive for genuine customer service.
- Hold flexible work hours.
- Excellent communication skills to connect intimately with our customers and team.
