APG Workforce is seeking reliable and motivated Egg Graders to join our client’s established egg production facility in Buchanan, just outside Newcastle.

If you’re physically fit, have a strong work ethic and are looking for consistent work with the potential for permanent employment, this could be the opportunity for you!

What’s on offer?

· $32.18 per hour

- Day shift: 7:00 am start
- Afternoon shift: 2:45 pm start
- Monday to Friday roster
- Potential for weekend work and overtime
- Ongoing work with the opportunity for permanency
- Full training provided — no previous experience necessary

About the role

Working within a busy egg production facility, you’ll help ensure fresh egg products meet quality, presentation and packaging standards.

Your duties will include:

- Sorting and grading eggs

- Packing and preparing products for distribution

- Performing repetitive tasks and manual handling, including lifting up to 20 kg

- Checking product quality and presentation

- Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic work environment

- Working as part of a team to meet daily production requirements





What we’re looking for

We’re looking for dependable people who take pride in their work and are ready to get started.

To be successful, you’ll need:

· Valuable physical fitness and the ability to safely lift up to 20 kg

- A reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A current driver’s licence and reliable transport to and from Buchanan
- Availability for an immediate start, with flexibility for potential weekend work
- The ability to meet site food-handling and biosecurity requirements

Please note: Due to the nature of the role and site requirements, applicants must have no relevant food allergies that would prevent them from safely performing the role. Applicants must also comply with site biosecurity restrictions, including requirements relating to keeping birds, poultry or pigs at their residence.
Previous experience in production, manufacturing or food processing is an advantage but not essential — full training will be provided.
