Due to continued growth, we are looking for experienced Boom Pump Operators and Line Pump Operators to join our team. Applicants only need experience in one type of pump – experience in both is not required.

About the role

These positions will initially be offered on a casual basis, with the intention of transitioning successful candidates to permanent full-time employment following a satisfactory assessment period.

We offer consistent, ongoing work and excellent rates of pay based on experience and skill level.

You will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining our concrete pumps while working alongside our experienced crews to deliver high-quality residential concrete slab projects across Melbourne and surrounding suburbs.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate and maintain either boom or line concrete pumps, depending on the position undertaken.
- Conduct daily pre-start inspections and basic maintenance.
- Set up, operate and pack down equipment safely and efficiently.
- Work closely with concreting crews, supervisors and builders.
- Maintain a high standard of safety and compliance at all times.




- Take pride in maintaining equipment and presenting it professionally.
- Deliver excellent customer service and represent Marvel Slabs professionally on site.

Skills and experience

- Minimum 1 years' experience operating and maintaining either boom or line concrete pumps is highly regarded.
- Current HR Licence (essential)
- Current High Risk Work Licence – PB (Concrete Placing Boom) essential for Boom Pump Operator positions only.
- White Card (essential).
- Traffic Management competency (highly regarded).
- Strong commitment to safety and equipment care.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
