Duties and Responsibilities:
· Analyze blueprints and instructions to determine the tasks and materials needed
· Drill accurate holes and install brackets to secure the system components
· Mount and connect various parts like compressors, motors, and coils
· Repair or replace faulty components like switches, gauges, and pipelines
· Join pipes using different techniques (bolting, soldering, etc.) for a secure and leak-proof fit
· Charge the system with a test substance to detect leaks
· Run the refrigeration system, verifying its functionality and making adjustments if needed
· Recover test gas or fluid and fill the system with the appropriate refrigerant
· Conduct regular inspections to identify problems within the system
· Diagnose malfunctions, fix or replace broken components
· Fine-tune system controls and mechanisms for optimal performance
· Reassemble the system after repairs
· Maintain detailed records of issues found, repairs made, and adjustments performed
Skills and experience:
· Relevant Qualification or 3 years of experience in lieu of the qualification.
· At least 1 year of experience in the relevant role.
· strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
