We have casual shifts available at our Tamworth IGA Cellarbrations store and are looking for energetic, reliable people to join our team.
About the role
You’ll help create a welcoming shopping experience by:
- Providing friendly, helpful customer service.
- Assisting customers with product enquiries and purchases.
- Operating the register and processing transactions.
- Replenishing stock and keeping displays looking their best.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe store.
- Supporting responsible service of alcohol and store procedures.
What we’re looking for
- A positive attitude and a demonstrated interest in customer service.
- Reliability, initiative and a willingness to learn.
- The ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Availability for a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Willingness to undertake stock handling and replenishment which includes lifting medium to heavy weights for periods of time.
- Having basic computer and literacy skills.
- A current NSW RSA, or willingness to obtain one before commencing.
Previous liquor retail experience is welcome, but a excellent attitude and enthusiasm are just as important.
