The Pickled Cactus Taqueria is a modern, authentic Mexican taqueria right opposite Terrigal Beach. We're a growing business with exciting plans for the future and are looking for a reliable, hardworking Kitchenhand to join our team.
THE ROLE
Your responsibilities will include:
* Washing dishes, cutlery, glassware and kitchen equipment throughout busy service.
* Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene and kitchen organisation.
* Removing rubbish and recycling.
* Putting away equipment and supplies neatly and correctly.
* Completing closing duties, including cleaning floors and toilets.
* Assisting the Head Chef with basic food preparation as required.
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, hardworking and able to work independently without constant supervision. You must be organised, efficient, respectful and positive,
with a strong work ethic and high standards of cleanliness. You should be comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment, take initiative and be willing to learn. Previous hospitality experience is an advantage.
