Direct Lifts specialises in the supply and installation of modern, high-quality lifts and elevators throughout Australia’s east coast. We work closely with architects, builders and property owners to design lift solutions that meet our clients’ functional and aesthetic requirements.

Multiple Roles

Due to a solid pipeline of projects, we are seeking motivated and qualified Electricians and Lift Technicians to join our Sydney team. Both roles are full-time positions based in Sydney, NSW, with travel to project sites as required. This is an opportunity to utilise your expertise to ensure safe and efficient electrical systems and lift installations.

Roles Available & Key Responsibilities

Electrician: Utilise your expertise to ensure safe and efficient electrical systems and lift installations. Responsibilities include:

- Installing, connecting, testing and commissioning electrical wiring, equipment and control systems associated with lifts.
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and technical specifications.
- Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults using appropriate testing equipment.

Lift Mechanic: Responsible for installing and assembling lift systems, including both electrical and mechanical components. You will work on a range of projects,



ensuring all installations meet safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include:

- Installing and assembling lift systems and associated mechanical and electrical components.
- Reading and interpreting lift installation drawings and technical specifications.

Role Requirements:

- At least one year of relevant work experience
- Ability to obtain a NSW Electrical Licence (essential for the Electrician role)
- Ability to obtain an Australian Driver's Licence
- Previous experience in the lift, elevator, construction or mechanical industry preferred
