We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Disability Support Worker with strong behaviour support and complex care experience to assist a female participant in Glenwood, NSW.

The participant has complex support needs and requires someone who is calm, patient, reliable and confident in managing challenging situations.

Support Needs

- Epilepsy and vision impairment
- Significant communication difficulties
- Complex behaviours of concern
- Obsessive-compulsive and repetitive behaviours
- Anxiety and emotional regulation difficulties
- Self-injurious behaviours and sensory needs

What We're Looking For

- Experience supporting people with complex disabilities and behaviours of concern
- Knowledge of epilepsy and complex communication needs
- Ability to recognise distress and respond calmly and safely
- Understanding of positive behaviour support and de-escalation strategies




- Relevant disability or behaviour support qualifications highly regarded
- Reliable, patient and compassionate approach
