Male or Female Disability Support Worker – Immediate Start

Location: Redcliffe (North Brisbane)
Pay Rate: $39–$41 per hour
Shift: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays - 9:00am – 2:00pm (5-hour)

Providence Care Australia is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and friendly Support Worker to assist a calm and gentle young male participant in his early 30s living in Redcliffe.

The participant is looking for a supportive worker who can help build his confidence, independence, and daily living skills. Participant is Currently homeless and live with his Partner.

Key Responsibilities,

- Encourage and assist with household routines once he gets a home.
- Encourage healthy eating habits
- Support community access and social participation
- Assist with developing money management skills
- Encourage independence and help the participant work towards his NDIS goals

Essential Requirements

- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services, or a related qualification
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills




- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Blue Card

Education:

- Certificate I - IV (Preferred)

- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (Preferred)
- Blue Card (Preferred)

- Australia (Preferred)
