Infyworx is seeking reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented Laundry Assistants to support aged care facilities across Canberra ACT.
This is a casual, on-call position, offering opportunities to work across multiple locations depending on operational requirements and your availability.

Key Responsibilities
- Collect, sort and process residents' clothing, linen and towels.
- Operate commercial washing machines and dryers.
- Fold, iron and organise clean laundry as required.
- Distribute clean laundry to residents' rooms and designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the laundry area.
- Follow infection control procedures and safe handling practices.
- Identify and report damaged or missing clothing and linen.
- Use laundry equipment and cleaning products safely.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Valid National Police Check (mandatory).
- Previous experience in a laundry assistant or similar role is highly regarded.
- Understanding of laundry hygiene and infection control procedures.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle laundry loads safely.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexibility to accept casual, on-call shifts across multiple locations in Sydney, NSW.
Previous experience in aged care, healthcare or commercial laundry services will be highly regarded.
