Position: Part-Time Student Ambassador

About the Role

Overseas Study & Migration Services (OSMS) is seeking a friendly, confident, and motivated Part-Time Student Ambassador to support our Vietnamese and Filipino student markets in Melbourne. The successful candidate will help connect with prospective international students, respond to enquiries, promote OSMS services, and build strong relationships within the international student community.

Key Responsibilities

- Engage with prospective international students and provide general information about studying in Australia.
- Respond to enquiries and share information about courses, education providers, and available study opportunities.
- Follow up on leads and refer prospective students to the OSMS counselling team.
- Build and grow a network within Vietnamese and Filipino student communities in Melbourne.
- Promote OSMS services through student networks, referrals, social media, and community engagement.
- Assist the marketing team with promotional activities, social media campaigns, and student recruitment events.
- Participate in networking activities and help strengthen OSMS's presence within the local international student community.
- Maintain positive relationships with students and support them throughout their initial enquiry journey.

Requirements

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, confident,



and proactive personality.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Interest in Australian education and international student support.
- Ability to engage with prospective students through social media and face-to-face interactions.
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently.
- Fluency in English and Vietnamese or Filipino/Tagalog is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in education counselling, student recruitment, sales, marketing, or customer service is an advantage but not essential.

Preferred Candidates

Candidates who are currently studying or have strong connections within international student communities in Melbourne, particularly from:

- Vietnam
- The Philippines

Candidates with an established network among Vietnamese or Filipino students in Melbourne will be highly regarded.
