Site Engineer - Rail Signalling

About the Employer
Our client is an engineering and construction business working across transport, defence and major infrastructure. It combines project delivery expertise with a focus on collaboration, technical improvement and sustainable outcomes.

The Opportunity
Provide engineering and quality support for signalling construction on a Gold Coast rail project. Reporting to a Project Engineer, you will help translate designs into safe site delivery and coordinate the technical information needed by supervisors and subcontractors.

Your Responsibilities
• Interpret signalling drawings and design documentation to support site works and resolve technical queries.
• Coordinate engineering and quality requirements across construction activities.
• Track progress, budgets and program performance and contribute to project reporting.
• Prepare inspection and test plans, QA records, RFIs and non-conformance documentation.
• Work with site supervision and contractors to maintain safety, environmental, quality and rail-standard compliance.

RequirementsSkills, Education and Requirements
• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification and eligibility for Engineers Australia membership.




• At least two years in signalling engineering or construction.
• Knowledge of construction methods, quality systems and project delivery processes.
• Ability to read signalling designs and drawings and assist with practical engineering problems.
• Strong organisation, communication and stakeholder coordination.
