Site Engineer – Civil Infrastructure

The Opportunity
Build your civil engineering experience on a major rail manufacturing infrastructure programme in Ormeau. Work alongside engineers and supervisors to coordinate site activities, solve construction issues and maintain reliable project records.

Your Responsibilities
• Interpret drawings and specifications and help prepare work methods and plans.
• Coordinate assigned civil work areas against safety, quality, cost and programme requirements.
• Track site progress, productivity and resources and prepare accurate reporting.
• Assist with procurement, quantities, cost tracking and supplier or subcontract administration.
• Support inspections, ITPs, RFIs, lot records, defects and non-conformance close-out.
• Work with supervisors and stakeholders to resolve practical delivery problems.

RequirementsSkills, Education and Requirements
• Engineering bachelor degree or equivalent tertiary qualification, with eligibility for Engineers Australia membership.




• Typically at least two years in construction or infrastructure.
• Experience supporting engineering scopes or construction work packages.
• Understanding of construction methods, contracts and project controls, with commercial awareness.
• Valuable organisation, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Accountable and collaborative approach, with confidence working independently when required.
