Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this permanent Senior Financial Accountant role takes key ownership of core financial control, month-end closing, statutory compliance, and operational analysis.

Located in North Sydney with flexible hybrid working options, this position offers direct exposure to executive leadership and a structured path for ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Control & Month-End: Lead end-to-end month-end closing procedures, journal processing, and complex balance sheet reconciliations.
- Statutory & Group Reporting: Prepare statutory financial statements, group reporting packages, and maintain AASB / IFRS compliance.
- Financial Analysis: Perform P&L; variance analysis, cash flow forecasting, and deliver actionable operational insights to leadership.
- Audit & Compliance: Support external audit processes and collaborate with senior management to enhance internal control systems.

What We Are Looking For:

- CA / CPA qualified (or equivalent)
- Background in Big 4 / mid-tier external audit seeking a first or second commercial move,



OR proven corporate/commercial accounting experience.
- Hands-on capability across month-end closing, financial reporting, and general ledger integrity.
- Solid technical accounting foundation with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
