TeamHEALTH is excited to introduce a newly created Head of Transformation role, offering a unique opportunity to drive strategic change and shape the future of our organisation. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Head of Transformation will lead the modernisation of TeamHEALTH’s business operations, aligning operational capabilities with our vision and Strategy. TeamHEALTH will release a renewed five-year Strategy in November 2026. To realise our vision for the future, we require a corresponding IT, data and digital strategy and the design and implementation of a multi-year transformation roadmap.

During phase one, the Head of Transformation will work closely with the Head of Finance and Head of People and Culture, who will provide System Management Expert (SME) input to the design and standardisation of finance and workforce management processes and their translation from legacy platforms to a new platform(s). The Head of Transformation will oversee the functioning of TeamHEALTH’s Technology, Data and Digital Committee which provides strategic advice to the CEO and the Board on the strategic use of information technology, digital innovation, artificial intelligence, and data. The Head of Transformation will be supported by a part time IT Support Officer who provides secretariat support.

TeamHEALTH receives IT managed services (infrastructure, connectivity, maintenance, and support) through an external provider. The Head of Transformation will work closely with representatives of the IT managed services provider, who are also observers on the Committee.

Essential for Position

1. Proven experience in delivering large IT and business transformation change programs – from planning to implementation.

2. Robust organisational change management experience,



with the ability to bring people along with the change, respecting that they may have multiple and competing priorities (including frontline service delivery).

3. Evidence of successful and productive working relationships with vendors, implementation partners and governance bodies.

4. Ability to communicate clearly and plainly to a non-technical audience, supporting staff and decisionmakers to understand risks, impacts and opportunities – and to work toward the best solution for the organisation.

5. A positive and solutions-focused mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work calmly and collaboratively within an environment that can be resource-constrained.

Desirable for Position

6. Tertiary qualification(s) in relevant disciplines (information technology, digital transformation, project management, change management).

7. Understanding of the not-for-profit sector and the context of service delivery in the Northern Territory.
