The Digimen is a well-established Townsville signage company with 25 years of experience delivering quality signage, printing and visual branding solutions. We're looking for an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to join our team and help drive the next stage of our growth. This role involves actively getting out there, building relationships, identifying opportunities and bringing new business through the door.
Key responsibilities
- Actively prospecting and generating new business opportunities
- Cold calling, networking and approaching potential clients
- Getting out on the road to meet businesses and identify signage opportunities
- Building and maintaining robust relationships with new and existing clients
- Identifying customer needs and recommending suitable signage solutions
- Following up leads, quotes and opportunities to secure sales
- Working closely with in-house graphic design, production and installation teams
- Developing a strong pipeline of opportunities and consistently working towards sales targets
- Representing The Digimen professionally and helping grow presence across North Queensland
About you
- Previous experience and knowledge of the signage industry is highly desirable
- Proven experience in sales, business development or account management
- Proactive, self-motivated attitude with genuine drive to win new business
- Confidence in cold calling and approaching potential customers
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Ability to identify opportunities and turn conversations into sales
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage own workload
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Current driver's licence
