The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Building Designer / Senior Revit Draftsperson to join this established residential design practice.
Working directly alongside the business owner, you'll manage residential projects from initial concepts through to detailed construction documentation, with the autonomy to take ownership of your work.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong Revit skills, excellent construction knowledge and a passion for producing high-quality, buildable designs.

For the right person, there is also potential to progress into a leadership position or explore future business involvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage residential projects from concept through to complete working drawings.
- Produce detailed architectural and construction documentation using Revit.
- Work across custom homes, renovations, extensions, house raising and residential developments.
- Prepare accurate construction and structural details.
- Liaise with clients, consultants and builders throughout project delivery.
- Collaborate with the business owner on technical design solutions.

About You




- Ideally 10+ years experience in residential building design or architectural drafting.
- Advanced Revit skills are essential.
- Strong residential construction knowledge and technical detailing experience.
- Ability to independently deliver complete working drawing packages.
- Experience with custom homes, renovations, extensions and house raising highly regarded.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication and organisational skills.
- Confident working autonomously with a practical, solutions-focused approach.

Formal architectural qualifications or registration are not essential. Experienced Building Designers, Senior Draftspersons and technically strong Architectural Technicians are encouraged to apply.
