About the Role:

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can hit the ground running. You’ll work across a portfolio of clients, lead our local and offshore bookkeeping team, and provide critical support to our advisory division. This role combines technical bookkeeping with team leadership, client relationship management, and systems optimisation.

Your Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct BAS reviews and handle lodgements in line with ATO compliance

- Assist the advisory team with system implementation, client onboarding, and reporting

- Manage client files across a variety of industries

- Set up and optimise accounting processes, chart of accounts, and integrations





- Perform payroll processing and STP lodgements

- Troubleshoot and support clients on cloud accounting systems

- Work closely with business owners to understand their goals and tailor solutions accordingly

Who we are looking for:

- BAS Agent experience

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior bookkeeping role

- Strong knowledge of Xero and experience with MYOB AccountRight and other cloud-based apps

- Confident in payroll processing, reconciliations, GST compliance, and understanding of compliance requirements

- Skilled in system setup and process improvement

- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and time management skills

- Excellent communicator with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues

- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn—especially when it comes to tech and financial systems

- Able to work independently and collaboratively across multiple clients and priorities
