At ICG Group, we're looking for a sharp, motivated and tech-savvy individual to join our high-performing Tender Team.

We're not necessarily looking for someone who ticks every box. We're looking for someone who understands construction, enjoys solving problems, embraces technology and takes pride in getting the details right.

If you're an experienced Estimator, fantastic. If you've got a solid building background, strong computer skills and the drive to learn, we'd love to have a conversation.

THE OPPORTUNITY | More Than Just Crunching Numbers

This isn't a role where you'll spend your days buried in spreadsheets, working in isolation.

You'll be part of a collaborative pre-construction team, helping turn opportunities into successful projects across a diverse range of construction activities.

Working on projects valued up to $20 million, you'll be involved in everything from initial take-offs and pricing through to tender submissions and project handovers.

Your day-to-day will include:

- Getting into the detail of drawings, specifications and project documentation to understand what's really involved.

- Preparing accurate take-offs, cost estimates and competitive tender submissions.

- Working with subcontractors and suppliers to source pricing and identify the best solutions.

- Collaborating with our Project Managers and construction teams to develop practical, buildable and commercially competitive tenders.

- Identifying opportunities, risks and smarter ways to approach projects.

- Tracking tender outcomes, reviewing results and helping us continually improve.

- Keeping tender documentation organised, accurate and up to date.





You'll have the opportunity to influence projects before the first shovel hits the ground.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR | Skills Matter. Attitude Matters Just as Much.

There are two ways you could be a great fit for this role.

You're already an Estimator.

You know your way around drawings, take-offs, construction costs and tender submissions. You're accurate, organised and commercially minded, and you're looking for a great team where you can make a genuine contribution.

OR

You're a construction professional ready for something different.

Maybe you're a tradesperson, supervisor, building professional or someone with hands-on construction experience who has discovered they're pretty good with numbers and technology.

You understand how buildings go together, you're confident using computers and you're keen to develop a new skill set.

Whichever path you're coming from, you'll bring:

- A sound understanding of construction methods, materials and building processes.

- Strong attention to detail and a logical, problem-solving mindset.

- Confidence with computers and the ability to pick up recent systems quickly.

- Good communication skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers, subcontractors and colleagues.

- The ability to juggle competing priorities without losing sight of the details.

- A willingness to learn, contribute ideas and find better ways of doing things.

Experience with Cubit, Procore and Microsoft Office will be highly regarded, but we're equally interested in your ability to learn.

Relevant qualifications are welcome, but practical industry experience and the right attitude count for plenty.
