About the role

We’re seeking an enthusiastic Health Professional (Scientific or Technical Officer) to join our Prenatal Testing laboratory in Macquarie Park as an essential team member.

The position is full-time, with rotating shifts rostered between Monday and Friday, 7:30 am – 21:00, and Saturdays, 7:00 am – 15:00.

Secure onsite parking is available, plus other company benefits.

Duties include specimen reception/archiving, instrument maintenance, data entry, phoning of laboratory reports, stock take and other laboratory duties.

Ideal candidate

Essential skills include strong computer proficiency, attention to detail, excellent organisational ability, accuracy, efficiency, explicit communication skills, and a professional phone manner.

Knowledge of medical terminology and experience in specimen reception are desirable.

The successful applicant must have a clear speaking voice,



remain calm under pressure, demonstrate a mature outlook, be self-motivated, team-oriented, and understand the confidential nature of the work.

While previous experience is preferred, the successful candidate will receive comprehensive on-the-job training. Remuneration will be aligned with experience.
