Due to continued growth and newly awarded projects, we are looking for experienced Leading Hands, Qualified Electricians, and 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentices to join our growing team in Gold Coast-based roles.

THE ROLE

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

The primary focus of these positions is the delivery of electrical construction projects across the Gold Coast and close surrounds.

Our work predominantly involves commercial construction, with opportunities across residential construction projects, including houses, duplexes, and multi-dwelling developments, as well as occasional service and maintenance work.

We are looking for individuals who take pride in their workmanship, work well within a team, and represent our business professionally.

Depending on your experience and position, responsibilities may include:

Site Leading Hand / Experienced Electrician

- Overseeing day-to-day electrical operations on construction sites.

- Coordinating and mentoring electricians and apprentices.

- Interpreting and working from a range of construction plans, including electrical, hydraulic, architectural, civil, and mechanical drawings.

- Independently planning and coordinating daily tasks to meet project milestones and objectives.

- Ordering and coordinating materials to avoid unnecessary delays.

- Liaising professionally with builders, project managers, and other trades.

- Leading by example and remaining hands-on with electrical installations as required.





- Taking ownership of allocated projects and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Qualified Electrician

- Carrying out electrical installations across commercial and residential construction projects.

- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications.

- Working independently or alongside other electricians and apprentices.

- Completing rough-ins, cable installations, fit-offs, switchboards, testing, and commissioning.

- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and productivity.

- Assisting with the coordination of site activities where required.

3rd & 4th Year Electrical Apprentices

- Assisting with electrical installations across commercial and residential construction projects.

- Performing rough-ins, cable installations, fit-offs, and general electrical construction activities under appropriate supervision.

- Reading and developing an understanding of construction drawings and specifications.

- Working alongside experienced electricians and leading hands.

- Demonstrating initiative, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

- Taking responsibility for allocated tasks appropriate to your experience and training.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━





We are seeking reliable, motivated individuals with experience in the electrical construction industry.

Leading Hands

- Current Queensland Electrical Work Licence (Open).

- Proven experience in commercial and/or residential construction.

- Previous experience coordinating projects, tradespeople, or small teams.

- Ability to interpret multi-discipline construction drawings.

- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Confidence working independently and liaising directly with builders and project managers.

Qualified Electricians

- Current Queensland Electrical Work Licence (Open).

- Experience in commercial and/or residential electrical construction.

- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

- Previous supervisory experience is welcomed but not essential.

3rd & 4th Year Electrical Apprentices

- Currently completing a recognised electrical apprenticeship at the 3rd or 4th year level.

- Previous experience in electrical construction.

- Good understanding of electrical installation practices appropriate to your training level.

- Willingness to learn, take direction, and develop your skills.

- Reliable, motivated, and capable of working effectively within a team.

General Requirements

- Current Manual (Class C) Driver's Licence.

- Construction White Card.

- Current CPR and LVR certification where applicable.

- EWP licence and relevant site qualifications are highly regarded.
