About you

We're looking for an experienced, proactive and delivery-focused professional to join our IT Business Solutions team, with a strong focus on change management, implementation delivery and business readiness.

You'll bring a combination of business analysis, systems implementation and change management experience, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical operational outcomes.

You'll be comfortable taking ownership of complex initiatives, coordinating stakeholders across multiple business areas and ensuring recent systems and processes are successfully implemented and adopted.

You'll have strong organisational and communication skills, a practical approach to problem-solving and the confidence to work with operational leaders, technical teams and external vendors to deliver results.

What you’ll be doing:

As part of our IT Business Solutions team, you'll play a key role in delivering technology and business process changes across Drakes Supermarkets.

With more than 6,000 team members across South Australia and Queensland, successful implementation requires more than delivering technology.



It requires effective planning, business engagement, operational readiness and a structured approach to change.

You'll work across major business initiatives, helping coordinate system implementations, business process improvements, training, communications and rollout activities.

This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can move comfortably between planning and execution, work through implementation challenges and ensure solutions deliver measurable benefits to the business.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and coordinate business change, implementation and rollout activities across technology projects and business initiatives.

- Develop and execute change management plans, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, business readiness and adoption activities.

- Plan and coordinate system deployments across multiple locations and business units, ensuring operational readiness and minimal disruption to business operations.

- Work closely with business stakeholders, operational leaders, technical teams and vendors to manage implementation activities, dependencies, risks and issues.

- Establish and monitor business readiness criteria, ensuring people, processes, systems and support arrangements are in place before go-live.

- Identify and document business process changes, working with stakeholders to establish consistent and practical operating procedures.

- Coordinate training requirements and delivery with business subject matter experts and training resources, ensuring employees understand both new system functionality and expected business processes.

- Support user acceptance testing, business validation and implementation sign-off to ensure solutions meet operational requirements.

- Coordinate post-implementation support, including hypercare, issue resolution and transition to business-as-usual operations.

- Monitor adoption,



identify opportunities for improvement and support the realisation of expected business perks.

- Undertake business analysis activities, including requirements gathering, process mapping and solution assessment, as required to support successful delivery.

Knowledge, skills and abilities

- Demonstrated experience delivering technology implementations and business change initiatives, ideally across multiple business locations or operational teams.

- Strong practical experience in change management, business readiness, stakeholder engagement and implementation planning.

- Proven ability to coordinate end-to-end rollout activities, including deployment planning, training, communications, go-live preparation and post-implementation support.

- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage and influence business leaders, operational teams, technical specialists and external vendors.

- Experience identifying business process impacts and working with stakeholders to implement consistent and sustainable operational improvements.

- Excellent planning, coordination and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive activities through to completion.

- Experience supporting user acceptance testing, business validation and implementation readiness.

- Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process mapping and documentation.

- Experience working with project and delivery management tools such as Monday.com, Azure DevOps or similar platforms.

- Experience implementing enterprise business systems, ideally within retail, workforce management, payroll, ERP or other operational environments.

- Relevant tertiary qualifications or professional certifications in business analysis, project delivery or change management would be advantageous.
