The opportunity

Our client is a national professional services firm that has grown quickly through acquisitions. It already recruits in house and wants someone to scale that up. This is not a role for someone who waits for a brief to land in their inbox. You'll get into the business, build trust with partners and leaders, work out where hiring is getting stuck, and come back with practical fixes.

What you'll do

- Partner with partners, practice leaders and business services managers on their hiring needs

- Run recruitment end to end across legal and business services roles

- Source and headhunt directly using LinkedIn Recruiter, talent pools and referrals

- Build workforce plans with leaders, so hiring is mapped out ahead and not a scramble

- Review agency spend, trim the panel and use specialist partners only where it makes sense

- Take as much recruitment in house as possible, and report on time to hire, source of hire and cost

What you'll bring

- Solid in-house Talent Acquisition experience





- A proven record of direct sourcing and headhunting, with hires you can point to

- Confidence with senior stakeholders, and the ability to challenge a brief and push back on agency use

- Experience reducing agency spend or bringing recruitment in house

- A proactive, consultative style and positive commercial sense

- Comfort with recruitment data and reporting

Experience recruiting in legal, professional services, financial services or consulting is highly regarded.
